Holly Murkerson (b. 1982, Lakeland, FL) lives in Chicago, Illinois, where she received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2010). Murkerson is a 2018 DCASE IAP grant recipient, and was a Fall 2015 Artist in Residence at Ox-Bow School of Art, and a Ragdale Resident Artist in 2017. Selected exhibitions include So Weit, die Zukunft [SWDZ] (Vienna, Austria), Rockford University (Rockford, IL), Columbia College (Chicago), Andrew Rafacz, (Chicago), Columbia University (New York),  Julius Caesar (Chicago) and the Evanston and Vicinity Biennial (Evanston, IL). Murkerson is also a Co-Director of Adds Donna, a collaborative and artist-run gallery space in Chicago.
